Prologue - The ABC of Music Theory

My musical career is not so short, many things have changed voluntarily and involuntarily, with this prologue begins a series of publications focused on teaching and mass teaching musical concepts. Here is the original foreword to my book "The ABC of Music Theory".
Throughout my brief musical career, I noticed that the main problem for musicians is and always will be piracy. And no, I'm not talking about piracy of musical works, or plagiarism of composition, I'm talking about piracy of music teaching material. Harmony and theory books, exercise books and instrument methods, etc.
So it seems a bit hypocritical to me that those who obtained their musical education based on this piracy, are the first to go to the copyright offices to register their compositions so that “no one steals them”.
Among this group are people, or institutions that put a price on content that is not theirs, completely breaking copyright law, and their dignity, in the process.
Adding to this, this group generally seeks credits where there are none, adding their image to third-party content, promoting piracy and forced accreditation, instead of seeking merit thanks to their work, they seek merit thanks to the detached work of others.
Hence the desire to write this book. A base on which to build an order of topics and chapters. A book in digital format, free, reusable, photocopiable, etc, legally.
The good thing about opting for a digital book is that you don't need to buy the new edition of the book. When corrections are made, content is added or removed from this book, the changes are instantaneous, just refresh the browser and voila, problem solved.
Another important aspect is collaboration. If this book reaches the hands of any school or teacher who wishes to make an anonymous/accredited contribution or correction to the book, they are welcome. Handwritten and digital contributions are accepted at my contact address. I'll take care of attaching them to the book so that it follows the style guidelines.
The order of topics in this book is linear, step by step, complementary.
This book, like musical life, has no end.
